The School is run by Lisa McCarthy TCRG and Theresa Kinsella ADCRG.
Lisa & Theresa recently joined forces to create the McCarthy Kinsella Academy of Irish Dance.
Lisa McCarthy first found her love of Irish Dancing at the age of 3 when her mother brought her along to a local class after seeing a little girl dancing at an Irish Festival. Lisa then joined the Kinsella School at the age of 7 and went on to grow even more in love with Irish Dance under the tuition of Theresa Kinsella for many years. Lisa competed at numerous events such as The British Nationals, The Great Britain Championships, The All Irelands, North American Nationals and The World Championships and attained very high standards however her real passion was to teach so as soon as she was of age she sat her TCRG examination in Ireland and became a registered teacher with An Coimisiun Le Rinci Gaelacha.
Lisa went on to form the McCarthy School of Irish Dancing and has built the school up from scratch. The school has gone from strength to strength and are proud to have many regular world qualifiers.
Theresa Kinsella has run one of London's most successful dance schools, The Kinsella School of Irish Dancing, and for many years was the proud teacher of many champions and world champions. She is a well respected adjudicator and now examiner with An Coimisiun Le Rinci Gaelacha, we are hoping that with the passion, expertise, experience and determination of both these teachers the McCarthy Kinsella Academy will go on to wonderful things.
